In this casual position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of the motel.
Based in the vibrant West Ballina area of New South Wales, this role is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the hospitality and tourism industry.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and assisting guests with check-in and check-out processes
Answering telephone and email inquiries from potential and existing guests
Providing information about the motel's services, local attractions and events
Managing reservations through online booking systems and maintaining accurate guest records and booking information
Managing guest complaints or issues calmly and professionally, notifying management of any incidents, damages or repeat guest issues
Assisting with cash handling and reconciliation, reporting of daily information to management
Communication with other departments to coordinate housekeeping and maintenance tasks as required
Adhering to all motel policies, procedures and safety standards
What we're looking for




Previous experience in a customer service or front office role in the hospitality industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and skilled manner
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities
Proficiency in using hotel management software and basic computer skills
A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
