As a Clinical Nurse, you'll play a central role in the patient journey — conducting clinical assessments, coordinating care, providing education, and working closely with our doctors to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
Location and Hours
This role is based at our Surry Hills office. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, though these may be subject to change in line with operational and business requirements.
Position Summary
As a Clinical Nurse, you will serve as the primary clinical contact for patients throughout their healthcare journey.
You will conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, coordinate investigations where required, prepare patients for medical consultations, provide evidence-based education, monitor treatment progress and ensure continuity of care.
Working closely with our doctors and multidisciplinary team, you will ensure each patient receives safe, personalised and compliant care while contributing to a seamless digital healthcare experience.
The doctor remains responsible for diagnosis and prescribing decisions, while you will coordinate and support the clinical journey before, during and after consultation.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Triage
Obtain detailed medical and social histories.
Assess presenting concerns and identify potential clinical risks.




Screen patients against clinic eligibility criteria and clinical protocols.
Identify red flags requiring escalation or urgent medical review.
Assess patient suitability for consultation with the treating doctor.
Ensure all required documentation is complete before medical consultation.
Consultation Preparation
Prepare concise clinical summaries for treating doctors.
Review patient questionnaires and supporting documentation.
Coordinate pathology requests, imaging and specialist reports where appropriate.
Ensure consultations are clinically prepared and efficient.
Escalate complex presentations to the treating clinician before consultation where required.
Provide evidence-based education regarding treatment options.
Explain treatment pathways, expected outcomes and follow-up requirements.
Educate patients regarding medication administration, storage and safety.
Discuss potential side effects and appropriate management strategies.
Reinforce informed consent and patient understanding.
Answer clinical questions within nursing scope of practice.
Care Coordination
Act as the patient's primary clinical contact throughout treatment.
Coordinate follow-up appointments and ongoing reviews.




Monitor patient progress and response to treatment.
Support medication adherence through education and regular follow-up.
Liaise with pharmacists, pathology providers and external healthcare professionals when required.
Escalate clinical concerns promptly to the treating doctor.
Clinical Governance & Compliance
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous and compliant clinical records.
Practice in accordance with AHPRA standards and the NMBA Registered Nurse Standards for Practice.
Adhere to all Scripted Clinic clinical policies and procedures.
Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities.
Participate in audits and continuous improvement projects.
Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with relevant legislation.
Deliver high-quality nursing care via telehealth platforms.
Utilise electronic medical record (EMR) systems accurately and efficiently.
Assist patients in navigating digital healthcare technologies.
Contribute to the ongoing development of digital clinical workflows.
Promote a seamless patient experience across all digital touchpoints.
Work collaboratively with doctors, pharmacists, administration teams and external healthcare providers.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
Support onboarding and mentoring of new nursing team members.
Share clinical knowledge and contribute to protocol development.
Foster a positive, collaborative and patient-focused workplace culture.
