Mechanical Fitter – Full Time

This is a wide-ranging and rewarding role involving new installations across a range of industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities
Work safely at all times and actively promote a safe workplace.
Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on industrial equipment.
Install, repair and replace mechanical equipment including:
Conveyors
Drive assemblies
Bearings
Gearboxes
Pumps
Valves
Complete machinery installations and commissioning.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings where required.




Complete work to a high standard while meeting customer expectations.
Follow company policies, procedures and site safety requirements.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
Mechanical Fitter trade qualification (Certificate III Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial maintenance or installation
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
Experience working in manufacturing or food processing environments (highly regarded)
Pneumatic and hydraulic experience (advantageous)
Current White Card
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
A positive attitude with a strong work ethic
