Austek Roads are currently seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to fulfil a full time position in the road construction industry.

About Us

Austek Roads are a quick-growing asphalt and road maintenance company with offices at Redcliffe and the Gold Coast. Servicing southeast Queensland and northern New South Wales, Austek completes asphalt and sealing works for a number of city councils and major civil construction companies.

About the Role

Austek requires the skills of a Graduate Civil Engineer to keep up with growing demand. The role primarily entails assisting senior peers with the delivery and upkeep of projects, processing quality documentation, safety protocols and integrated management systems. The role is primarily based out of our Clontarf office; however, there are opportunities to work in a civil construction site environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of quality documentation
- Work with project engineers and project managers to successfully deliver asphalt projects
- Interpret test reports to ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Assist in the development and maintenance of management systems




- Assist in the development and submission of tenders
- Attend site as a QA representative

Requirements
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering graduate within the past two years
- Self-driven, motivated and able to manage your own workload
- Multi-skilled and able to learn on the go
- Competent in complex computer activities, particularly MS Excel
- Current Australian Driver's Licence with own reliable transport (P1 and P2 accepted)
- Valid general construction induction card (white card) or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in the civil construction industry advantageous but not required
- Must currently reside in Australia
