Courier Driver & Warehouse Assistant (2 Roles Available)
Two Roles Available (1x 40 Hours Full Time Per Week Driver and 1x 20 Hours Casual Per Week)
First Role: Full Time Employee Four Days a week Courier Driver: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8am-6.30pm
Second Role: 20 Hours a week Casual Employee worker doing warehouse work and occasional courier driving (3pm-7pm Mon-Fri)
Harts Couriers is a family owned and operated business, operating for over 30 years in the optical courier business.
We have grown organically over the past 30 years, and we are now looking to power up our next growth phase into direct B2C and customer specific deliveries.
Our couriers / drivers are our first line of customer service, and we expect the highest of standards when it comes to every customer interaction.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
Safe and timely delivery of our stock to customers (whether it be residential or business customers)
Ensuring safe, courteous, and on-time deliveries.
Fostering positive relationships with customers.
Accurate handling of orders and delivery instructions.
Be Flexible.
This team has been created as a Flexible team with a mix of home deliveries and business to business deliveries.
Ensure high levels of end customer satisfaction by polite and timely interactions with end customers
Some basic warehouse work at the end of some shifts (supporting warehouse operations to get the freight out and interstate by a specific time)




The Warehouse worker Casual role will be primarily afternoon work in our warehouse supporting our team that prepares freight for interstate transfer and delivery.
We will also train up this person on some basic courier driving to act as versatile resource we can utilise in these hours from time to time.
The full time shift pattern will be 8.00am-6.30pm four days per week.
We've got longer days on the road due to our freight needs, but we are hoping the day off each week will help with your work life balance (and there will likely be opportunities to work extra shifts on your day off if that's something you want to take up for extra cash).
The Full time 40 hour role will earn an annual salary of $63,400 (plus Superannuation) whilst the 20 hours per week casual role is paid at $***** per hour + Superannuation.
About you and your skills:
You thrive on customer service and are an experienced delivery driver (preferably for small businesses), highly flexible and willing to be part of a very successful team, you also:
Have a clear and valid C class driver's license
Excellent time keeping ability
Customer focus and "can do" attitude
High level of problem-solving ability
