We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Psychologist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker to join our team at The LikeMind Lounge Pty Ltd in Launceston.
In this role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological services to a diverse range of clients, conducting assessments and delivering tailored therapeutic interventions.
You will work autonomously to support client mental health and wellbeing.
Current Registration with the Psychology Board / AASW is required for this position.
Australian citizenship is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment:Conduct comprehensive discipline-specific assessments, including diagnostic interviews and standardised testing (e.g., cognitive or personality assessments).
Therapy Delivery:Provide evidence-based individual, group, or family therapy using modalities such as CBT, DBT,



or EMDR depending on your personal preferences and training.
Experience Requirements:There is a preference for 1 year of clinical experience for this role.
Treatment Planning:Formulate and implement individualised treatment plans based on clinical diagnosis and client goals.
Documentation:Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client electronic case notes and reports in accordance with organisational and registration body guidelines.
Collaboration:Liaise with external stakeholders, including GPs, psychiatrists, and schools, to ensure holistic care coordination as required.
Risk Management:Identify and manage clinical risks, including self-harm or crisis situations, providing appropriate intervention and referrals.
