About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Junior School, the P-6 PDHPE Teacher will deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs across the Junior Campus. The successful candidate will be an exceptional classroom practitioner who combines strong curriculum knowledge with a genuine commitment to student wellbeing and growth
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and innovative PDHPE programs for students across P-6.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning setting where students feel known, valued and supported.
Use assessment and data effectively to support student growth and development.
Differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of students.
Collaboratively plan and contribute to best-practice teaching programs.
Build strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and carers.
Integrate technology meaningfully to enhance teaching, learning and administration.
Actively engage in professional learning and reflective practice
About You
You will be a passionate educator who demonstrates:
A strong understanding of current NSW curriculum requirements and contemporary pedagogical practice.
Proven expertise in teaching PDHPE and promoting physical and health literacy.
The ability to inspire a love of learning and active participation among students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A collaborative and proactive approach to working within a dynamic school environment.
A commitment to student wellbeing, respectful relationships education and child safety.
Confidence in using technology to support teaching and learning.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education.
A current NSW Working With Children Check.
Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality PDHPE programs.
Strong knowledge of NSW curriculum and assessment practices.
Ability to differentiate learning and create inclusive educational experiences.
