About the Role
PermaPlant is looking for enthusiastic tree planters to join our team across Sydney and surrounding regions.
This is a very physically and mentally demanding outdoor job - but if you're prepared to work hard, you can earn far more than a standard casual role and stay fit at the same time.
If you're fit, disciplined and want to earn $*********/hr, this role will reward your effort like no standard casual job.

What You'll Do
Plant trees and plants of all sizes at diverse revegetation and landscaping jobsites
Work at a quick pace while maintaining high planting quality and site standards
Follow site instructions and safety procedures
Bring strong energy, reliability and a positive attitude to every shift
Pay and Conditions
Employment type:Casual
Pay structure:Piece-rate with a guaranteed minimum
Guaranteed minimum:$*****/hr on the jobsite
We calculate both your piece-rate earnings and your hourly equivalent - and pay whichever is higher
Most planters earn $*****/hr; top planters earn $******/hronce up to speed
Typical hours:Monday to Friday, approx.
7:00am - 3:30pm, with flexibility and potential for up to 6 days/week during busy periods
What We're Looking For
Physically fit - a sporting or gym background is a strong advantage
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (work may be called off in very heavy rain)
Strong work ethic and mental toughness - able to handle repetitive, demanding physical tasks
White Card (Construction Induction Card) - required before starting; we can advise on how to obtain one quickly if needed
Driver's licence and reliable transport (own vehicle or willingness to arrange transport)
Steel-cap boots and basic PPE (or willingness to obtain before starting)
Getting Up to Speed
New planters should expect the first couple of weeks to be very challenging while they learn the job and build speed.
Stick with it and your performance and earnings can increase quickly - the early learning curve is worth pushing through.
