Our client a children's charity is seeking expressions of interest from dedicated Workplace Health, Safety and Wellbeing professionals who are interested in joining their People and Culture team for a future opportunity commencing around November ****.
This is an opportunity to register your interest and be considered for an upcoming full-time permanent Workplace Health, Safety and Wellbeing Officer position with a values-led organisation committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and families.

About the Role
As a WHS Wellbeing Officer, you will:
Provide sound advice and guidance on workplace health, safety and wellbeing matters, best practice and legislative requirements.
Develop and deliver regular reporting and metrics on WHSW and performance, including analysis and reporting on trends and workforce issues, risks and opportunities.
Facilitate incident investigations, including report writing and supporting the implementation of related outcomes/recommendations.
Provide timely and considered support to injured workers and their managers, guiding them through the end-to-end workers compensation claims process.
Work in close collaboration with the Head of People and Culture Partnering to ensure the safe and timely return to work (RTW) of injured workers including, liaising with treating doctors, health professionals, injured workers, their managers, case managers and other stakeholders.
Ensure WHSW policies and procedures are kept current and in line with changes in legislation and best practice.
You'll join a collaborative and supportive team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed services that uphold child safety, cultural safety, and family-led practice.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, a related field or equivalent experience (Cert IV or above)
Demonstrated knowledge of researching, interpreting and applying WHS legislation across NSW and ACT.
Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of WHS best practice.
Experience in a similar role with injury management and return to work experience.
Demonstrated experience in developing WHS and wellbeing policies, guidelines and procedures, including development and delivery of related training.
End-to-end incident and claims management experience.
Experience working with WHSW regulatory bodies and insurers.
Desirable Criteria
Experience gained in the not for profit/for purpose sector.
What's on Offer
Base salary: $120,000 per annum (pro rata, if applicable) + 12% superannuation
Salary packaging: Up to $15,860 tax-free (general living expenses)
Meal & entertainment packaging: Additional $2,650 tax-free per FBT year
