Business Services & Property Coordinator

Barnardos Australia is seeking a dedicated Business Services & Property Coordinator to join our Corporate Division in Ultimo, ****. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to be part of a values-led organisation committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and families.
About the Role
As a Business Services & Property Coordinator, you will:
Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance across all owned and leased properties.
Obtain quotations where required, in support of Head Office and other related properties.
Coordinate statutory compliance programs with WHS team where needed. (fire, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, lifts, test & tag, asbestos).
Maintain lease registers, Right of Use schedules and monitor critical dates.
Coordinate lease renewals, landlord correspondence and rent reviews.
Review rental invoices for lease agreements.
Maintain the Asset Register and coordinate procurement, replacement and disposal of assets.
Coordinate annual asset audits and stock takes.
Coordinate day-to-day administration of the Business Services portfolio.
Coordinate procurement activities and supplier engagement.

You'll join a collaborative and supportive team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed services that uphold child safety, cultural safety, and family-led practice.
Skills and Experience :
Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration, Property, Facilities Management or equivalent experience.
Strong Microsoft 365, Excel and SharePoint skills.
Demonstrated experience in business services, facilities, lease management, property or corporate administration.
Previous experience and understanding of fleet management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes and agreed service standards.
Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and communities, including a strong understanding of cultural safety, self-determination, and the historical and contemporary factors that impact Aboriginal peoples.
What's on Offer:
Base salary: $90,000 per annum (pro rata, if applicable) + 12% superannuation
Salary packaging: Up to $15,860 tax-free (general living expenses)
Meal & entertainment packaging:
Additional $2,650 tax-free per FBT year
