APG Workforce are currently seeking an experiencedWelder (TIG)for an exciting prospect based at the Homebush Rail Equipment Centre.
Location:Homebush, NSW
Start Date:ASAP (pending checks)
Duration:6 months (with potential extension)
Hours:7:15am – 3:45pm, 38 hours per week
RDO:1 RDO every 4 weeks (no 9-day fortnight)
Key Responsibilities:
PerformTIG weldingon stainless steel (up to 6mm thickness) in line with Australian Standards
Ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards
Work collaboratively to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
Strong experience in TIG welding (essential)
Experience with MIG welding on mild steel
Solid fabrication skills
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Must have own welding helmet (all other equipment provided on-site)
PPE Requirements:
Safety boots
Welding helmet
General PPE
