Southern Ocean Lodge is seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team, delivering exceptional food experiences in one of Australia's most celebrated luxury lodge settings.
In this role, you will take ownership of your section, preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standard while working closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure a seamless and memorable dining experience for our guests.
You will bring precision, creativity and consistency to every service.
Preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard within your section
Supporting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and quality standards at all times
Managing stock levels and minimising wastage within your section
Contributing to menu development and seasonal specials
Collaborating with the wider kitchen and Food and Beverage team to ensure smooth service
Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as required
About You
You're a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie who takes pride in your craft and enjoys working in a premium culinary setting.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a fine dining or luxury setting
A genuine passion for high-quality, seasonal and regional produce




Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistency
The ability to work well under pressure as part of a close-knit team
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends
