Plumbing Central Syd is seeking an experiencedSenior Strata Maintenance Plumberto join our team.
This is afull-time positionoffering the opportunity to take on a leadership role within our plumbing operations.
You will be responsible for managing complex plumbing maintenance projects across strata properties, providing expert technical guidance, and mentoring junior plumbers.
This role is crucial to maintaining our reputation for delivering high-quality plumbing services to our valued strata clients across Sydney.
Key responsibilities
Oversee and execute comprehensive plumbing maintenance and repair work on strata properties, including residential and commercial buildings.
Diagnose simple and complex plumbing issues and develop effective solutions, working independently and with minimal supervision.
Mentor and supervise junior plumbers and apprentices, providing in office training and quality assurance.
Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken, including materials used and labour hours.
Ensure all work complies with relevant plumbing codes, standards and safety regulations.
Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance solutions.
What we're looking for
A technician who takes pride in his work, asks for help when required and loves plumbing.
Current NSW plumbing licence with extensive experience in residential and commercial plumbing maintenance.
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on plumbing experience, with substantial experience in strata or multi-unit residential properties.
Proven expertise in maintenance, repair and problem-solving across all plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, hot water and gas fitting.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with the capacity to supervise and develop junior team members.
Excellent communication and customer service skills,



with the ability to interact professionally with property managers and residents.
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to travel between multiple sites across Sydney.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workloads effectively.
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.
