Carbonis Next Door is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Delicatessen and Café Attendant to join our vibrant team.
Located in Ballarat East and Buninyong, we bring a slice of Italy to our community through our Traditional locally made and Imported products, warm and welcoming service and atmosphere.
Position:
Delicatessen and Café Attendant:
Part-Time (average 24 hours per week)
Casual (on demand)
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
Preparing coffees, sandwich, gelato, shakes items and serving deli products.
Taking payments.
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the deli areas.
Ensuring all food displays are attractive and stock is rotated.




Requirements:
Must be available to work weekends (2-3 times a month on a rotating roster).
for Part-Time must be available at least 3 days a week.
Must be available from 7:30am and/or until 5:30pm.
Must have previous experience in a café and/or delicatessen.
Must be able to make quality coffee.
Must have or be able to obtain RSA.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
