About the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprenticeship:
Assisting with the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
Learning to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
Installing pipework, ducting, units and control systems
Assisting with testing, diagnostics and fault finding
Working on residential and commercial air conditioning systems
Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Complying with all Workplace Health & Safety requirements
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Completing required training and coursework as part of the apprenticeship
The ideal 2nd/3rd Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice:
Completion of at least 12 months of your Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprenticeship - both at Trade School and with a Host Employer
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills
High attention to detail
Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on environment




Driver's licence (or working towards one) preferred
Certificate II in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or Electrotechnology) advantageous
