Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced WHS Senior Officer (Psychosocial) to play a pivotal role in advancing psychosocial risk management across the University.
Reporting to the WHS Manager (Psychosocial), you will provide specialist leadership, strategic advice and expert guidance to strengthen the University's approach to psychological health and safety.

Position overview
The WHS Senior Officer (Psychosocial) is responsible for supporting the delivery of the University's psychosocial risk management program through the provision of expert advice, high-quality analysis and practical risk management solutions.
Working closely with leaders, managers and stakeholders across the University, the role helps identify,



assess and manage psychosocial hazards while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and alignment with the University's WHS objectives.
As a subject matter expert, you will lead psychosocial risk projects and initiatives, contribute to the development of policies, procedures and resources, and provide reporting and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
You will also build organisational capability through training, education and stakeholder engagement, helping embed a positive safety culture and continuous improvement in psychosocial risk management across the University.
