Primary Objective The Assistant Broiler Breeder Manager supports the operational performance, compliance, and continuous improvement of 15 broiler breeder rearing and laying farms.
The role ensures production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of animal welfare, biosecurity, quality assurance, safety, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities Production Management Monitor body weight, uniformity, feed and water consumptionReview mortality, culls, egg production and egg qualityAnalyse weekly and monthly production data and implement corrective actionsEnsure management aligns with breed standards and company proceduresBe involved in all flock livestock key activities both for rearing & laying Leadership and People Development Provide leadership and coaching to 12 Farm ManagersPromote a culture of safety, welfare and accountabilitySupport recruitment, training and performance managementMonitor labour efficiency and workforce planning Animal Welfare and Biosecurity Ensure compliance with welfare standards and industry codesConduct regular farm inspections and welfare assessmentsEnforce strict biosecurity across all sitesInvestigate disease events,
