We are seeking an experienced
Sydney Depot Manager
to lead our largest operation based at Moorebank.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead a team of Supervisors, Allocators, Warehouse staff and Drivers to deliver a safe, efficient and profitable operation.
This is a leadership role focused on developing people, driving accountability and ensuring our operational teams consistently achieve outstanding service outcomes.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday with a start time between
10:00am and 11:00am
, allowing you to oversee our afternoon operations and nightly linehaul dispatch.
About the Role
You will be responsible for leading the Sydney Depot by:
Coaching and developing Supervisors and operational teams to achieve success.
Driving a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
Ensuring operational KPIs are consistently achieved, including service, scanning compliance and productivity.
Managing labour, fleet and subcontractor resources to maximize operational efficiency.
Supporting strong customer relationships through proactive leadership and problem solving.
Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team to deliver business objectives.

About You
To be successful you will bring:
Previous management experience within the transport, freight or logistics industry.
Proven experience leading large operational teams.
Strong understanding of linehaul and metropolitan pickup and delivery operations.
Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVAS, fatigue management and Dangerous Goods requirements.
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing labour and operational costs.
Excellent leadership, communication and coaching skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Current Forklift License.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
