About the role
THE ICONIC is looking for an experienced professional to manage the Menswear Accessories category. This 10-month contract focuses on trend curation, vendor negotiation, and data-driven assortment planning to support our commercial objectives. You will work alongside the planning team to optimize stock levels and drive sales performance across our digital platform.

What you'll do
Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for the Menswear Accessories category.
Negotiate contract terms for both wholesale and commission-based platform vendors.
Monitor inventory levels and manage brand performance, including the exit of unproductive lines.
Analyze market trends and data to inform buying decisions and product selection.
Collaborate with marketing to coordinate promotional activities and go-to-market strategies.
Maintain accurate records including SKU lists, brand plans, and department matrices.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.




Ensure all vendor partnerships comply with internal policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Buyer within a high-volume retail environment.
Ability to interpret complex contracts and manage detailed terms and conditions.
Strong communication skills with a focus on stakeholder management across finance, operations, and marketing.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable commercial strategies.
Genuine interest in men's fashion trends.
Experience managing vendor relationships and onboarding processes.
Nice to have
Prior experience in e-commerce buying environments.

Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and v-lookups).
