Hire A Mover is a contents handling company specialising in the insurance industry. We offer packing, moving and storage services across NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and WA.

We are seeking an Account Coordinator to manage the relationship between our clients and our operational teams. You will be the person our clients deal with, and the person our crews rely on to tell them exactly what each job requires. It is a role built on relationships and on accuracy — in equal measure.

The role
Manage a portfolio of client accounts — insurance builders, restoration companies, and other commercial clients and their site teams — as their primary day-to-day contact.
Take accurate, complete briefs. Ask the questions that matter at the outset — access at both ends, volume, special items, packing scope, timing constraints — so the job is understood before it is scheduled.
Translate each brief into explicit job requirements and hand them to Operations fully resourced, so crews and trucks can be allocated without a follow-up question.
Work alongside our removalists and packers in the field throughout the job — available when something changes, and confident dealing with the crew directly.
Keep clients informed. Where a job shifts, they hear it from you first, with a solution alongside it.




Own the outcome on your accounts from booking through to completion, and build relationships that grow year on year.

About you
Minimum 3 years in a client-facing role — account management, client services, coordination or customer relationship management. Removals, logistics, restoration, construction or field services experience is an advantage.
Genuinely valuable with people. Clients trust you, and crews on the road respect you. You can hold both audiences well.
Accurate under pressure. With several jobs live and the phone going, the detail still has to be right — a missed lift booking or an incorrect access note can cost a day.
Able to manage competing priorities without losing track of any of them, and to close the loop without being chased.
A robust communicator, in person, on the phone and in writing.
Comfortable with a CRM and standard office systems.
