This is an opportunity for an experienced claims professional to manage a diverse portfolio of complex travel claims, provide technical guidance and play an key role in delivering fair and accurate claim outcomes.
About the opportunity
You will be responsible for managing an end-to-end portfolio of travel insurance claims, including complex medical, cancellation and financial loss matters.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage a portfolio of complex travel insurance claims from lodgement through to settlement.
Assess claims against policy wording, PDS documentation and relevant guidelines.
Make informed coverage decisions and communicate outcomes clearly to customers and stakeholders.
Act as a technical escalation point for complex claims.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Claims team.
Partner with internal teams, including Emergency Assistance, to achieve positive customer outcomes.
Maintain accurate claim records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

About you
You are an experienced claims professional who enjoys investigating complex matters, interpreting policy coverage and making sound decisions.
You will ideally bring:
3+ years' experience within insurance claims.
Experience managing complex or high-value claims.
Travel insurance, personal accident, health or injury claims experience highly regarded.
Strong policy interpretation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
