Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Accountant with Australian public practice experience in agribusiness to join our Adelaide-based team.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, understands the unique commercial and operational drivers of Australian farming businesses, and is ready to take the next step in their career within a respected and growing firm.
About The Role
This is a genuine client-facing role with exposure to high-quality work, trusted relationships and advice that goes well beyond year-end compliance.
Working closely with a portfolio of agribusiness clients, you will provide tailored accounting, taxation and advisory services to support their growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for agribusiness clients
Delivering tax planning, structuring and strategic advice specific to the agriculture sector
Building trusted relationships with farmers, producers and agribusiness operators
Assisting clients with cashflow management, succession planning and business decisions
Supporting and mentoring junior professionals and reviewing their work
Contribute to a high-performing team with a strong focus on quality, service and sector expertise
About You
CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)
3+ years' experience in Australian public practice
Demonstrated experience working with agribusiness clients in Australia
Strong knowledge of primary production tax concessions, structures and industry-specific issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in client-facing environments
A proactive, team-oriented approach and the ability to work autonomously
