Western Automate is a family-owned automatic gate & fencing company based in Cockburn Central. We are looking for an experienced workshop assistant to join our growing team.
Responsibilities Will Include
Measuring & cutting of materials ( aluminium & steel)
Assisting boilermakers
Quality control
Unpacking & packing of orders
Maintaining stock levels
Maintaining a tidy, organized workshop environment
Experience and Skills Required
Physically Fit (This is a fast-paced role)
Workshop environment exposure preferable
Knowledge of hand and power tools
Ability to follow procedures and directions from supervisors
Excellent time management skills & ability to multitask
Forklift Ticket required (MUST HAVE)
Keen eye for detail & accuracy
Own reliable transport & drivers license
Reliable and punctual with a robust work ethic
Remuneration package includes
The successful applicant will start on a probationary period of 6 months with the opportunity for full time after the probation period
Company Shirts
$35 per hour ( + Production Bonuses)
4 Day Weeks - 10 Hour Days
