We are partnering with a well-established food manufacturer that produces a diverse range of products supplied to retail, food service, and industrial customers across Australia and internationally. They now seek a Quality Manager in Sydney for their thriving team.
This role will suit a hands-on Quality Manager who enjoys working closely with operations and production teams, understands the demands of a rapid-paced manufacturing environment, and takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and compliance.
About the Role
Lead all aspects of quality assurance and compliance across the manufacturing process
Work closely with production, R&D;, and technical teams to uphold food safety standards
Oversee a small laboratory function including product testing and verification processes
Prepare for and manage internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and traceability
Drive continuous improvement in systems, communication, and teamwork across departments & ensure compliance with HACCP,



FSANZ requirements and relevant customer standards.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in food manufacturing, ideally across ingredients, beverage, or packaged products
Strong working knowledge of Australian and New Zealand Food Standards Authority (ANZFA) regulations
Collaborative communicator who can build relationships and engage effectively across the business
Practical, hands-on approach with genuine accountability for outcomes
Ability to balance technical QA discipline with a positive, solutions-focused mindset
