D&K; Brothers is currently seeking 2 experienced Demi Chefs to join our kitchen team at Manly Leagues Club.

About the Role

As a Demi Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef and senior kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality meals while maintaining productive kitchen operations.

Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and cooking menu items to a consistently high standard
Managing your allocated kitchen section during service
Assisting with food preparation, portion control and stock rotation
Maintaining food quality, presentation and service speed
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
Supporting senior chefs with daily kitchen operations
Assisting with receiving, storing and organising kitchen supplies
Minimising food waste and helping control food costs
Working effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
Maintaining a clean, organised and professional work area

About You

We are looking for candidates who have:
Previous experience as a Demi Chef, Commis Chef or experienced Cook




Experience working in a busy restaurant, hotel, club or bistro kitchen
Strong cooking and food preparation skills
Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements
The ability to work efficiently under pressure
A positive attitude and solid work ethic
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable availability across weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays
Relevant commercial cookery qualifications
Full Australian working rights

Experience with Australian club bistro cuisine, grill, fryer, pans, pizza or function catering will be highly regarded.
