ABOUT THE JOB
We are currently seeking an experienced health science professional to join our Medical Affairs & Market Access team as aMedical Affairs Manager.
Thispermanent roleoffers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by developing and delivering scientifically robust education, training, evidence-based claims, content and resources that support healthcare professionals, patients, consumers and internal stakeholders across the Nutricia portfolio.
You will partner closely with cross-functional teams and external experts to ensure Danone remains at the forefront of nutritional science and healthcare engagement.
Yourresponsibilitieswill include (but are not limited to):
Scientific Content & Medical Education– Develop and deliver high-quality, evidence-based content, resources and educational materials for healthcare professionals, consumers and patients, ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance.
Medical Strategy Execution– Support and execute medical affairs plans and initiatives across your portfolio, ensuring alignment with business and healthcare objectives.
Healthcare Professional Engagement– Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders and external stakeholders to enhance scientific understanding and advocacy.
Training & Capability Building– Deliver scientific and product training programs to internal stakeholders, including field teams, to strengthen capability and confidence in scientific discussions.
Events & Scientific Communications– Plan and execute educational events, webinars and scientific engagement programs for healthcare professionals, patients and consumers.
Insights & Evidence Translation– Stay abreast of emerging scientific and clinical research,
translating complex evidence into clear and actionable insights for diverse audiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration– Partner with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Market Access and broader Medical teams to deliver integrated and impactful healthcare initiatives.

You come from adietetic, nutrition, pharmaceutical, healthcare or related scientific background and are passionate about improving patient and consumer outcomes through evidence-based nutrition.
You are an effective communicator who can confidently engage with a broad range of stakeholders and simplify complex scientific information into meaningful and practical recommendations.
Ideally, you will have:
Experience in an industry role, preferably as aDietitian or Nutrition Scientist, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practice.
Experience as a Food Technologist, Pharmacist or Chemist within an FMCG or healthcare environment will also be considered.
A tertiary qualification inDietetics,Nutrition, Food Technology, Pharmacy, Chemistry or a related discipline.
Familiarity with nutrition products and prior experience in aMedical Affairsrole would be advantageous.
The ability to interpret scientific and nutritional research and translate it into clear, engaging and relevant information for consumers and healthcare professionals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Proven stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
Solid project and time management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Commercial awareness and an understanding of how scientific activities support business objectives.
