Safety is a core organisational value, and this business is investing seriously in the maturity, consistency, and capability of its HSE function.
The Role
This is a dual-function leadership role combining national HSE management with HSE systems ownership.
You'll take accountability for HSE performance across three sites, leading two direct reports and partnering closely with site and operations leaders to drive safety culture, risk reduction, and injury management.
The business already has a strong safety culture and maturity this isn't a turnaround role; it's about sustaining and building on a solid foundation.
Alongside the national remit, roughly half the role is focused on continuous improvement and standardisation of HSE frameworks, policies,



and processes across all regional HSE teams and sites taking a group-level framework and figuring out how it should flex and land consistently across very different site contexts also be closely involved in the rollout of a new digital HSE platform and associated change management.
Your Background
Solid experience in a Health, Safety and Environment leadership role, ideally within food manufacturing
Proven experience managing HSE across multiple sites within a large, complex organisation
Experience developing, implementing, or standardising HSE management systems across a network of sites
Solid stakeholder engagement and coaching skills, you're personable, build trust quickly, and can influence at all levels
Comfortable working autonomously, bringing solutions and ideas forward
