About the Role:
As a dental assistant and receptionist, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring a smooth and productive patient experience.
This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, flexible, and eager to be part of a caring and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the dentist during procedures, including chair‐side support and sterilisation of instruments.
Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and instruments.
Managing patient appointments, bookings and recalls.
Welcoming patients and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.
Handling patient enquiries and coordinating patient care.
Maintaining patient records and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date; and
Managing payments and health fund claims.
What we are looking for:
Minimum 2 years' experience as a dental assistant and/or dental receptionist is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, friendly attitude with a strong focus on patient care.
Good organisational skills and the ability to multi‐task in a fast‐paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
Proficiency in dental software (Oasis, Examine Pro) is a plus but not essential.
