The finance function is going through significant change and this person will be central to getting it right.ResponsibilitiesOwn month-end and year-end close end to end, including journals, reconciliations and reporting packsKeep the general ledger clean and fully reconciled across bank, WIP, fixed assets and intercompanyOwn debtor and creditor performance with direct line of sight to cash flowEnsure all statutory and tax obligations are met including BAS, GST and FBT,



and be the main contact for external auditorsProduce monthly P&L; and balance sheet reporting with variance analysis the business can act onLead a small team across revenue accounting, financial accounting and accounts payable, and develop them throughout the engagementIdentify where processes are breaking down and fix themRequirementsCA or CPA qualified or in progressProven experience in a senior finance or accounting role with direct team leadershipStrong month-end close, GL and balance sheet governance track recordStatutory compliance experience including BAS, GST and FBTERP experience, SAP or similar, and strong ExcelComfortable working in a demanding, rapid-paced environment and partnering with operational stakeholdersFull working rights, including Working Holiday Visa.What's on OfferFull ownership of financial operations across ANZ, a small team to lead and a direct line to the Financial Controller.
