We are currently seeking a self-motivated Heavy Vehicle Driver Trainer to join our Transport Division in Maryborough or Rockhampton Qld.
This position presents an exciting opportunity for experienced HC/MC drivers seeking a new challenge.

About the Role:As a Heavy Vehicle Driver Trainer at SDS Training, you will deliver high-quality driver training in the Transport sector.
The role involves training candidates during the week, with occasional weekend training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver driver training to students in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Assess students' driving skills,



providing constructive feedback to ensure the highest quality training and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Provide hands-on training in heavy vehicle operations, ensuring that students are prepared for real-world challenges in the transport industry.
Skills & Experience Required:
HRO, HC or MC unrestricted driver's license (essential).
Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driving Instruction (Specialisation B – Heavy Vehicle) (essential).
Minimum of 3 years' experience driving in the transport industry.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver transparent and engaging training sessions.
A strong focus on safety, compliance, and industry best practices.
