With continued growth and an ambitious expansion strategy, an prospect has become available for an experienced Associate Director to lead complex projects, mentor a talented team and play a key role in the future of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior planner looking to step into a leadership position with genuine influence, working closely with the Directors while continuing to deliver some of NSW's most significant planning projects.

Duties
Manage complex development applications, planning proposals and major project approvals.
Lead State Significant Development and design competition projects.
Provide strategic planning, due diligence and approvals pathway advice.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Attend client, council, panel and stakeholder meetings.
Identify and secure new business opportunities.




Mentor and develop junior and senior planning staff.
Assist with business strategy, systems and quality assurance initiatives.
Manage project budgets, resources and team performance.
Keep up to date with NSW planning legislation and industry changes.
About You
Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline.
Approximately ***** years' experience within town planning.
REAP qualified, or nearing qualification.
Strong experience delivering complex planning projects across NSW.
Excellent knowledge of the NSW Planning System and current legislation.
Proven experience preparing Development Applications, Planning Proposals, Statements of Environmental Effects and Environmental Impact Statements.
Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and mentor planners.
Commercial mindset with business development experience.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
