ABOUT PAISLEY PARK
We are a small, family-oriented private company, proud of our long history in early learning.
With over 30 years of experience, we focus on embedding a culture of cooperative professional learning and developing strong partnerships with the local community, including local schools, allied health professionals, and registered professional training organisations.
ABOUT THE ROLE/S
We are looking to fill a number of roles across our beautiful, purpose-built multi-level 120-place Long Day Care Centre in Prospect.
Our Centre is well established as a standout in the local community, with a strong team led by experienced professionals who focus on building reciprocal relationships with families.
Our Centre is well-resourced from top to bottom, including a large car park, a beautiful tram shed conversion and generous teaching spaces, all of which have been carefully designed for children's joy, discovery and learning.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidates interested in leadership roles will assume a range of responsibilities, including mentoring teams, setting goals for their improvement and ensuring the educational program reflects children's strengths, interests, and emerging development.
It is essential that any Educator employed in a leadership role demonstrates passion for the sector, has proven hands-on experience, and works flexibly as needs dictate.
We are also looking for Educators with varied backgrounds, qualifications, and life experience to add to our dynamic team, which has developed a strong, respectful workplace culture where everyone feels a strong sense of worth and belonging.
We want candidates not only to be qualified in early learning but also to have a passion for teaching and an enthusiasm for engaging children in programs that support their lifelong learning.
Below we list some of the main tasks required of Educators joining our team:
Implement and continuously improve the educational program in line with the EYLF and NQS (Quality Area 1)
Engage in critical reflection and continuous improvement.
Contribute to or lead staff discussions, reflective practice sessions and professional learning opportunities.
Support team members in meeting compliance, documentation, and assessment requirements.
Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and support service readiness for assessment and rating.
Stay informed of current research, legislation and sector best practice
Build respectful, professional relationships with families and external professionals.
Advocate for children's rights, wellbeing, inclusion and voice.
Promote protected, nurturing and stimulating learning environments in line with the Child Safe Standards.
Participate in our Community Engagement Program to build relationships with the local community.
Reflecting on your performance and participating in probationary processes, which include Appraisals, SMART Goals, and strategy setting and demonstrated improvement.

TO JOIN OUR TEAM, YOU FIRST NEED TO MEET OUR ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Completed childcare qualifications such as a Certificate 3 in Children's Services, Diploma in Children's Services or an Early Childhood Degree.
Graduate Diploma qualified applicants must have at least 3 years of experience working directly with children in an Australian Early Learning Centre.
They must also be registered to teach and have an ACECQA-recognised qualification.
Completed Child Protection, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Senior First Aid and Red Nose training
Understand Child Safe Standards, Curriculum Frameworks and National Quality Standards
Experience in managing relationships in and outside of the Centre
Be solution-driven, positive and able to work with people from various backgrounds and learning levels
Demonstrate positivity and have excellent social skills
Have excellent spoken and written English capability
Be professionally presented at all times and be willing to abide by our uniform policy
Be reliable and can work independently
Have a current Working with Children Check (not volunteer), National Police Check, and Child Safety Training
Be willing to attend an in-person interview and provide up-to-date reference check details relevant to the role
