About the Role:
We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as
Deceased Persons Transfer Officer
. This casual, at-call role involves transporting the deceased from the point of death to the mortuary.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of empathy, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. You must be available for a range of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and nights.
Have you driven hearses or completed funeral work then we are interested in talking with you.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and respectfully transferring the deceased from the place of death to the mortuary.
Ensuring all paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Working closely with a team to maintain high standards of service and professionalism.
Handling sensitive situations with the utmost respect and care.
Availability for shifts on weekdays, weekends, and nights on an as-needed basis.

A valid driver's license (own vehicle preferred, but not essential).
No prior experience required – full training will be provided.
