What you will do




Perform venepuncture safely and accurately to collect blood samples from volunteers.
Conduct routine clinical observations, measuring blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and waist circumference.
Accurately record clinical data using electronic systems.
Monitor volunteer wellbeing during appointments, escalating concerns when necessary.
Prepare, label, and package blood samples for laboratory transport.
Provide a supportive and reassuring service to participants throughout their appointments.
Assist with administrative tasks and ensure efficient participant flow in mobile clinics.
Adhere to strict infection prevention, health and safety, and clinical governance protocols.
Report any incidents promptly and engage in quality improvement activities.
Collaborate effectively with the wider clinical team to provide a seamless service.
