About the Role
Our client partner, a leading Tier 1 Mining Company is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee coal quality and dewatering activities across a large-scale mining operation.
Working an 8/6 roster, you will provide hands‐on leadership to ensure production activities are completed safely, efficiently and in line with operational and coal quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily coal quality and dewatering activities
Coordinate crews, equipment and operational priorities
Monitor coal quality requirements and production targetsManage pit water, pumping and dewatering activities
Ensure work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
Conduct pre‐starts, toolbox meetings and shift handovers




Identify operational risks and implement suitable controls
Work closely with production, maintenance and technical teams
Support workforce performance, development and accountability
About You
Previous supervisory experience within open‐cut coal mining
Strong understanding of coal quality and dewatering activities
Demonstrated ability to lead operational mining crews
Sound knowledge of mining safety systems and procedures
Solid communication, planning and problem‐solving skills
Relevant qualifications and current site‐required competencies
A practical and safety‐focused leadership style
