About the role
Lead a transformative regional initiative to improve recovery and healing responses for people impacted by sexual violence across the North Coast. As Senior Manager, Recovery, Healing and Practice Capability, you will drive a large-scale capacity-building program that strengthens trauma-informed, culturally responsive and recovery-oriented practice across primary care, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations, health services and community partners. Working closely with diverse stakeholders, you will lead co-design, workforce development, cross-sector collaboration, service system improvement and project delivery to enhance referral pathways, improve service coordination and achieve sustainable outcomes for communities across the region.
About you
To excel in this position, you will have:
Demonstrated understanding of sexual violence recovery and healing, trauma-informed practice and culturally responsive service responses, including the long-term impacts of sexual violence and the needs of priority populations.
Demonstrated experience leading complex health, community services, commissioning, service improvement or system reform projects, including planning, implementation, governance, risk management,



budget oversight, performance monitoring and reporting.
Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership capability, with the ability to build trusted relationships across ACCHOs, general practice, Local Health Districts, sexual violence services, mental health services, community organisations and government stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead co-design, consultation and facilitation processes that are culturally safe, inclusive, evidence-informed and responsive to community and service system needs.
Experience developing or implementing workforce capability, training, practice resources, Communities of Practice or service pathway initiatives that support consistent, practical and sustainable practice change.
Develops, implements, and monitors business activities to support delivery of strategic and operational plans.
Demonstrated people leadership capability, including the ability to lead, develop, coach and support high-performing teams, foster collaboration and accountability, and achieve organisational objectives.
Strong communication, influencing and reporting skills, including the ability to tailor messages, prepare high-quality briefings and bring stakeholders together around shared recovery and healing priorities.
Knowledge of and commitment to Work Health and Safety, Equal Employment Chance, cultural safety, privacy and continuous improvement principles.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, management, public policy, business, social sciences or a related discipline, and/or equivalent in senior management experience 8+ years
