About this role:
Ringwood Private Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Anaesthetics/ Recovery Nurse to join our team of professionals in providing excellent patient care on a part‐time basis.
About us:
With 2 operating theatres, Ringwood Private Hospital offers a range of specialties including, Medical Services, Endoscopy, Urology, Minor Maxilla Facial, Dental, Breast Surgery, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery and Oncology.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare patients for surgery, prepare anaesthesia equipment, assist in anaesthesia administration
Provide patient care and recovery and monitor vital signs post‐op
Provide evidence‐based care, ensuring patient and staff safety
Liaise with the multi‐disciplinary team
Support your team members to deliver family centred care
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their care
A minimum of 2 years' experience in Anaesthetics / Recovery
Current Registration with AHPRA & Working with Children's card
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Sound clinical decision making and problem‐solving skills
Works well independently and within a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and VICNMA/ANMF- VIC Nurse and Midwives' -Enterprise Agreement ****, a salary ranging from $************* per hour.
