MFB Products is privately-owned business and a leader in the manufacture of 19"rack mount cabinets including Data Room and Wall Mount enclosures, Industrial Style 'IP66' rated Cabinets, RFI Shielded Cabinets and purpose built ruggedised Cabinets.
MFB also manufacture Custom Enclosures, Fibre Boxes, Switch Enclosures and Open Frame Cable Management Systems.
About the role:
Due to ongoing business growth, we have vacancies now available for a Machinist to operate our Manual Lathe and Mil producing parts for our range of cabinets, boxes and custom sheet metal products.
The Job role includes, but is not limited to:
Operating Milling Machine and Lathe to produce parts and dress pre made components.
Use precision measuring equipment such as verniers, callipers and gauges to ensure product accuracy.
Operate high speed saw for cutting extrusion.
Operate Pedestal drill for tapping and drilling.
Liaise with other MFB departments regarding customer orders and deadlines.
About the Person:




The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
A good understanding of manual lathe and mil operation.
A valuable understanding of High-Speed Saw and Pedestal Drill operation
Be able to read and interpret drawings.
Demonstrate experience in a mechanical workshop environment.
Comply to Safety and 5S standards.
Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual
Take pride in their work and area
Work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
Willing to work overtime
