This is a full‐time Registered Nurse position based within Arcadia Pittwater Private Hospital.




Position Functions:
Planning and evaluating nursing care in consultation with the multidisciplinary health care team and patients/carers using effective interpersonal communication.
Carrying out nursing practice in accordance with Legislation, Common Law and Code of Ethics, Professional Standards and competencies
Supervise enrolled nurses and nursing assistants in the delivery of client care.
Ensuring Care is planned with all members of the health care team and other relevant staff in accordance with assessed needs.
Ensuring priorities are determined for individual patients.
Ensuring patient care outcomes are monitored and adjusted and plans updated when necessary.
Providing high level communication skills that include: interpersonal, verbal, written, computer, and the ability to work cohesively as an active member of the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements of the position:
Current nursing registration with AHPRA
Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary health care team
Demonstrated effective time management skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
