Parts Interpreter - South Yarra BMW (Full-Time)

About the role
As a Parts Interpreter, you'll manage the end-to-end parts process and be the key point of contact for our workshop and service teams.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing stock from OEM and other suppliers.
Supply and invoicing of parts to Trade, Service and Pre-Delivery departments.
Conduct sales transactions with customers by telephone, internet, e-mail, eBay and over the counter.
Prepare and assist in annual stock take.
Carry out parts delivery when required.




Picking and packing orders for dispatch when required.
Processes of quotes, orders and invoices, and checks for accuracy and completeness of all related documentation.
Adheres to efficient order process including with incoming orders accuracy and accordingly.
Maintains integrity of DMS through regular update or upload of information.
Proactively follows up on stock returns and customer credit requests.
Ensure competency and diligence in cash handling, EFTPOS and associated receipting and documentation.
About You
You'll bring
Previous experience in parts interpretation or automotive parts operations.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Robust communication skills to liaise with workshop teams, suppliers, and customers.
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced dealership environment.
Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to challenges.
Knowledge of parts systems, stock control, and ordering processes.
A team-focused attitude and commitment to supporting colleagues.
