Warehouse & Operations Coordinator / Storeperson - Padstow NSW
Your role is a hands-on warehouse and operations opportunity within a growing importer and distributor of specialist construction products & solutions - sold direct, through distribution and retail channels.
You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching products while supporting inventory control and logistics activities.
As you become established in the business, there is potential to develop responsibilities across broader warehouse operations including stock management, purchasing coordination, supplier interaction, freight management, warehouse systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
Unload shipping containers and incoming deliveries using a forklift.
Receive and accurately record incoming stock.
Store products in designated warehouse locations.
Pick, pack and prepare customer orders.
Load outgoing freight vehicles.
Maintain warehouse organisation and efficiency.
Ensure stock is stored safely and correctly.
Dispatch & Logistics




Create delivery documentation and invoices when required.
Prepare freight labels and shipping documentation.
Book freight using carrier portals including Toll and other transport providers.
Coordinate collection and delivery schedules.
Track deliveries and investigate freight delays.
Provide delivery updates directly to customers.
Obtain proof of collection and delivery documentation.
Inventory Control
Conduct regular stock takes.
Maintain inventory accuracy.
Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment requirements.
Assist with forecasting purchasing requirements.
Support management of imported inventory from Europe and the USA.
Identify inventory discrepancies and resolve stock issues.
Product Repacking & Production Support
Decant and repackage products into various pack sizes.
Repack imported products into customer-specific packaging.
Prepare products for retail and commercial customers.
Support shelf-ready packaging initiatives for major retail / channel.
Ensure presentation and packaging standards are maintained.
Customer Service
Respond to customer delivery enquiries.
Liaise with freight providers regarding shipment status.
Provide professional telephone support.
Support internal administration functions when required.
Assist with maintaining strong customer relationships.
Operational Improvement

Planning stock requirements.
Coordinating purchasing activities.
Managing warehouse systems and procedures.
Supervising warehouse staff.
Developing operational KPIs.
Supporting business growth initiatives.
Acting as operational second-in-charge to the Director.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Forklift Licence.
Previous warehouse/storeperson experience.
Experience receiving and dispatching inventory.
Experience using freight providers and transport booking systems.
Strong inventory control experience.
Basic Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel.
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously.
Strong attention to detail.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
Highly Desirable
Warehouse supervisory or management experience.
Purchasing or inventory planning experience.
Import/export logistics experience.
Experience implementing warehouse systems or process improvements.
Experience in construction products, chemicals, industrial products or building materials.
Understanding of workplace safety requirements.
Experience dealing directly with customers and suppliers.
