The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and approachable People & Culture Business Partner to service our teams across Launceston and North West Tasmania.
This role may also be offered as two part-time positions, one based in Launceston and one on the North West Coast, depending on candidate circumstances.
This is an exciting 12 month opportunity to become a trusted advisor to leaders, helping shape a positive, engaged and high-performing workplace where our people can thrive.
As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will partner with managers across a diverse portfolio, providing practical advice and support across the full employee lifecycle.
From coaching leaders and managing complex employee relations matters to conducting workplace investigations, supporting organisational change and ensuring compliance with employment legislation, no two days are the same!
This role is about far more than providing HR advice.
You will have the opportunity to influence how we support our people, contribute to meaningful organisational initiatives and help drive continuous improvement across our People & Culture practices.

About You
You are an experienced People & Culture professional who enjoys partnering with leaders to achieve great outcomes for both people and the organisation.




You build trusted relationships with ease, communicate confidently and bring a balanced, pragmatic approach to complex people matters.
You have experience coaching leaders to build capability across performance management, employee relations, leadership and communication, and you're comfortable navigating challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy.
Your ability to balance operational priorities with strategic thinking enables you to deliver practical solutions that support business objectives while fostering a positive workplace culture.
You'll also bring:
Experience providing contemporary HR advice across a broad range of employee and industrial relations matters.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies and best practice.
Experience managing workplace investigations, complaints and performance matters.
A collaborative and customer-focused approach, with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels.
Resilience, initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.
A passion for creating positive employee experiences and supporting leaders to be successful.
