About The Role
The Old Clare Hotel in Chippendale, part of EVT's Ode Hotels collection, is looking for a
Part-Time Storesperson
to join our team. You'll manage the receiving, storing and dispatching of all goods coming into this heritage-listed boutique hotel, keeping our loading dock and storage areas clean, safe and organised. It's a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in accuracy and enjoys being part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, check and store deliveries, making sure goods match orders and invoices
Inspect incoming stock against the hotel's quality standards
Accurately record all goods received and issue stock to departments as requisitioned
Dispatch goods efficiently and keep accurate records of movements




Keep the loading dock and storage areas clean, tidy and safe at all times
Take part in monthly stocktakes
Follow all hotel policies, procedures and workplace health and safety guidelines
Support the wider team with other duties as directed by the stores manager or cost controller
What You'll Bring
Previous experience as a stores or warehouse person.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with stock and paperwork
Positive organisational skills and the ability to manage physical stock efficiently
A safety-first mindset, particularly around manual handling and loading dock operations
Comfortable working autonomously and taking direction from stakeholders
Reliable, punctual and able to meet the physical demands of the role
Prior experience in stores, warehousing or hospitality supply chain is an advantage
A genuine focus on guest and internal customer service
