About the role:
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Perioperative Registered and Enrolled Nurses with experience in Anaesthetics and Stage 1 PACU to join our clinical team on a Part time and Casual basis.
Great work/ life balance - Monday to Friday flexible roster. No weekends, public holidays or overnight shifts
Duties and responsibilities:
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
About You:
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
Solid experience in Perioperative Anaesthetic and Stage 1 PACU nursing
Current AHPRA registration as a nurse
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care
Experience in the below specialties highly desirable
