What you'll do
Collaborate closely with sales teams to influence deal structuring, ensuring financial participation is optimized in complex negotiations and transactions.
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and forecasts that support strategic decision‐making across various business units and markets.
Analyze revenue drivers and key performance indicators across different segments and territories to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements.
Establish, refine, and maintain metrics and reporting processes that ensure consistency, accuracy, and relevance of financial data, enabling effective monitoring of business performance.
Support sales leadership with detailed financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with a focus on metrics such as Expense-to-Bookings ratios.
Foster strong teamwork and communication across departments, including Sales Operations, Revenue Accounting, and Human Resources, to align financial strategies with operational goals.
Drive continuous process improvement initiatives by implementing best practices, automation,



and scalable systems to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
Lead the development of financial models to evaluate potential investments, partnerships, and expansion opportunities in the ANZ, ASEAN, and Indian markets.
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and standards, maintaining accurate records and supporting audits as needed.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, cultivating a high‐performance culture that emphasizes accuracy, integrity, and strategic thinking.
Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, offering insights on financial risks, opportunities, and market trends to inform long‐term planning.
Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that could impact financial operations or strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Proven experience as a finance leader with a strong commercial mindset, capable of building and scaling finance functions within high‐growth, high‐tech environments.
Demonstrated success in establishing financial processes, infrastructure, and reporting systems that support organizational growth and operational excellence.
Ability to analyze complex financial data and develop strategic, solution‐oriented recommendations for senior management.
Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial insights into actionable strategies that drive revenue and profitability.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
Hands‐on experience in developing and managing financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
Over 10 years of experience working in high‐tech or SaaS companies,



with a track record of leadership in finance functions.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Anaplan, and experience with financial planning and analysis tools.
Knowledge of international financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to the markets of Australia, ASEAN countries, and India.
Nice to have
Experience in driving cross‐functional collaboration and leading process improvement initiatives across multiple departments.
Prior exposure to working with ITAR regulations or in industries requiring strict compliance standards.
Experience working in organizations with complex deal structures and multi‐currency financial management.
Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Experience in managing teams across different geographic locations and cultural contexts.
Skills & tools
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
Expertise in financial reporting, data analysis, and visualization tools to communicate insights effectively.
Familiarity with financial planning software such as Anaplan, and ERP systems like NetSuite.
Ability to develop and implement scalable financial processes and automation solutions.
Excellent problem‐solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
