About the Role
We're searching for a highly driven, energetic and very experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our on-site workshop in Meadowbrook. You'll be servicing trucks and trailers for our growing fleet, with a strong focus on trailer fault diagnosis - brakes, suspension, and electrical/ABS systems. This is a hands‐on role that demands a mature mindset, technical competence, and strong organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities
Manage your own job schedule and keep the workshop running smoothly
Report progress on each job and promptly communicate any delays or concerns
Work unsupervised on jobs in line with the workshop schedule
Carry out servicing,
repairs and diagnostics on heavy vehicles and trailers
Promote and uphold a strong Health & Safety culture within the business
Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop workplace
Skills & Experience Required
Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) - mandatory
Several years' proven experience across a wide range of heavy vehicles and trailers, including fault diagnosis
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional service
Current HR driver's licence
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a busy workshop
