About the role
We'reseeking aFinance & Assurance Officerto support the delivery of financial analysis, reporting, and assurance activities across recovery and reconstruction programs within theNSW Reconstruction Authority.
About You
You are an adaptable finance and grants professional with a solid foundation in financial administration and an understanding of grants processes. You work well in structured, high-volume environments and are comfortable supporting compliance requirements while contributing to effective day-to-day delivery of programs.
Whatwe'relooking for
Experience infinancial and grant reporting, data analysis, and reconciliation, including aligning expenditure to funding agreements and financial systems
Solid analytical capability to assessfinancial risk, grant eligibility, and assurance outcomes, and to interpret complex data sets
Experience supportinggrants or program funding, including tracking expenditure, payments, and multiple funding sources
Ability to investigate variances,identifyrisks or issues, andprovideclear insights to support decision-making




Experience working collaboratively with program and project teams to ensureaccurateand compliant financial reporting
A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to help streamline processes, improve data quality, and support efficient reporting and payment workflows
Must be a current temporary or ongoing NSW Public Sector employee.Tertiaryqualification and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier's Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities,businessesand government.
