We have two positions available. One casual and one part-time butcher. Immediate Start.

Superior Meats is expanding our team and looking for an experienced butcher who takes pride in their craft, delivers exceptional customer service, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced, community‑focused environment.

About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable and skilled butcher to join our shop on a casual and part‑time basis. The role involves a mix of production, customer service, and general shop duties.

Key Responsibilities

- Break down, prepare, and present a wide range of meat cuts to high standards

- Operate machinery safely (bandsaw, mincer, slicer, etc.)

- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and OH&S; practices

- Serve customers with professionalism and product knowledge

- Assist with stock rotation, packing, labelling, and merchandising

- Work collaboratively with the team to keep the shop running smoothly

About You





- Qualified butcher or significant hands‑on experience in the trade

- Strong knife skills and attention to detail

- Friendly, approachable, and confident with customers

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required

- Able to work in a busy workplace and manage multiple tasks

- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace

No two days are the same!

Hours

Causal Butcher & Part Time Butcher available to work up to 30 hours including availability on Saturdays
