Occupational Therapist - Hervey Bay, Fraser Coast

Compass Rehab is a multidisciplinary allied health service providing occupational therapy and physiotherapy. Located in the heart of the medical precincts in Hervey Bay and Maryborough our service is growing, and we are seeking Occupational Therapists to join our allied health team.

Duties

- Independently applying clinical judgement, knowledge and skills to clinical Occupational therapy tasks and decision making
- Provide services include equipment prescription, minor home modifications, completion of reports (specifically functional capacity assessments but others as required), ADL assessment and ongoing therapies for a range of physical, psychosocial and developmental conditions
- Incorporating strategies within Occupational therapy processes and treatment plans that acknowledge and promote interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teamwork and patient centered care
- Liaise with referrers, families,



and other stakeholders to support client outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and reports for NDIS, Medicare, and private clients

Ideal candidate

- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- Adaptability to changing environments and caseloads
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a close-knit, high-performing team
