OVERVIEW The Deputy Manager, Sponsored Students role sits within the ANU International Office at the Australian National University. This full-time continuing administration position supports the strategic and operational management of services for sponsored students across the university. The role focuses on student engagement, compliance, and support services for international and domestic students, while also working with sponsors and internal stakeholders. The position includes oversight responsibilities connected to DFAT Australia Awards Students and contributes to maintaining sponsorship agreement obligations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the strategic and operational management of services for sponsored students
- Deliver student engagement services for international and domestic students
- Provide support services for sponsored students
- Deliver compliance services relating to sponsored students and sponsorship obligations
- Work with sponsors and internal stakeholders across the university
- Oversee matters relating to DFAT Australia Awards Students
- Contribute to policies, systems, and initiatives that enhance the student experience
- Uphold sponsorship agreement obligations through effective administration and services
